Quaility craftsmanship has always been incredibly important to Franchetti Bond. From the very first collection in 1988 to today we prioritise durability, practicality and of course design!
Our director and founder visits every one of our factories to ensure our expectations are met. Feeling the fabrics and hardware in person is an essential part of our design process.
OUR MAKERS
Having great suppliers is the first step to a great product. We work with family-run ateliers who have perfected their craft.
Many of our makers we have been working with for over 30 years! Our familys have bonded over lunches and laughter.
Thier input and guidance throughout our business journey has been essential and we wouldn’t be where we are without them.
ITALIAN HERITAGE
We are extremely proud of our connection to Florence. The city has so much significance and importance to our family and the love for the city is interwoven into our products. We work with Tuscan suppliers to bring you the very best leather in the world.
Our favourite part of the year is visting all of our lovely suppliers in Italy, enjoying the ambience and eating good food!
LONDON - OUR HOME
Of course we cannot forget about the wonderful England. Our main community is right here in London and we have served the Chelsea area for almost 30 years now!
The practicalities of London mean that our designs need to be water resistant for those rainy days. We select specially treated leather that creates a coating to protect the leather from the rain, it also makes the bags wipeable and durable.
