Slow fashion
We embrace the principles of slow fashion by intentionally limiting our output to just two small collections per year. By producing only one Autumn/Winter and one Spring/Summer range, we ensure that every piece is created with purpose, utilising high-quality materials that are built to last rather than be replaced.
This approach not only reduces environmental impact by preventing overproduction but also honours the artistry of our makers.
low waste
We proudly donate 100% of our deadstock to incredible causes, including The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and St Wilfrid’s Hospice. This ensures that any surplus products go towards supporting vital community services rather than ending up in a landfill.
We also only use 100% recyclable or compostable packaging throughout our operations, ensuring that our waste output is kept to an absolute minimum.
Carbon footprint
We operate on 100% renewable energy, eliminating the carbon emissions typically associated with retail utilities. Furthermore, we move stock by train rather than air, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.
We are also dedicated to protecting our local ecosystem, we are actively contributing to a 25% increase in Chelsea’s biodiversity by 2030 through targeted conservation and office tree sponsorship.
Supplier relations
We have personal ties to all our makers, with relations going back 30+ years! These deep-rooted relationships allow us to enforce a strict code of conduct that ensures fair treatment and ethical standards at every stage.
We believe that happy makers create great products. We make sure to prioritise partners who ensure ethical and safe working conditions, and who are preserving hand sewn heritage skills.
